Angelina Ponzio Labate grew up in Vermont but is now a Brooklyn based teaching and performing artist, choreographer, poet, student, storyteller and documentarian who is guided by the Afro Diasporic traditions of Hip-hop, Street and Club Dance. Elias Kai Francis is a teacher at Dance And Movement Center. Eli was a member of Teen Jazz at CD&FS before graduating in 2024. He studies various styles with a focus on modern, improvisation, and hip hop. Since graduating, Eli has been learning to teach, working with both adults and kids. His favorite part of teaching is getting to share the joy of movement and the positive impact it has on his students’ life.


Chloe A. Schafer (she/her) is a dance artist, scholar, and educator. Her creative works are understated and whimsical; she asks the audience to lean in and pay attention to the subtle undercurrents of drama, quirk, defiance, and silliness. Chloe holds an M.F.A. from Sarah Lawrence College and received her B.A. in Dance and B.S. in Anthropology from the University of Vermont.
Sonia Plumb is native Vermonter. As Artistic Director of Sonia Plumb Dance she has thrice received the Connecticut Office of the Arts Fellowship for Artistic Excellence. Her work has been performed throughout the Northeast and abroad. Sonia received her B.A. in Theater and Dance from Trinity College, CT. https://soniaplumbdance.org/
